Mike Perry BSc (Hons) MCSP MHPC MAACP
Mike is the Clinical Director and graduated from the University of Salford with a BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy after 10 years practicing as a Sports Therapist. During this time he worked with the British Cycling Team travelling to events worldwide and as part-time therapist at Stoke City Football Club.
To date Mike has experience working in both professional and amateur sport as well as the general public treating conditions from Chronic Low back pain to Repetitive Strain Injury to Arthritic Joint Pain. He has previously worked in another large private physiotherapy practice for the last few years treating both private and medically insured clients in various location throughout South Cheshire and North Staffordshire.
As part of our business, Mike also works in a part-time capacity locally as Head Physiotherapist at Longton Rugby Club, treating both acute and chronic injuries across all teams and facilitating rehabilitation of players back to fitness. He specialises in both acute and chronic soft tissue injury using treatments such as soft tissue massage and manipulation, acupuncture and auricular acupuncture to facilitate return to full fitness.
Outside of work he is a keen endurance runner and cyclist and have recently competed in long distance mountain and fell races from 5 miles to 40 miles.
